High level brake light rubs through the glass electrical element. I had to run a wire up the side of the glass(tucked behind the rubber) to the brake light to get it to work again. My 3 elements for the heated rear screen are not working either. I have posted about this before so look up my posts and you will probably find more details.

faulty batch of windows don't know if LR will still cover it under warranty 2.4 90 XS

So again it is a case of "they all do that" and not a bad batch as i recall. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Not 100% sure but I think the bad batch I read about may have been front screens. Steve.

no it was the rears,we had ours replaced under warranty as did quite a few others 2.4 90 XS 1968 1/32 scale Britains 109 Pick up. |

Both mine were replaced under warranty. The rear for a known issue with the brake light rubbing the element BM52

insulation tape over the wires stops it re occuring
