OK, so it's probably like teaching all your grannies to suck eggs, but thought I'd share a tip that worked for me.
![]() While cleaning my wheels with wonder wheels (other wheel cleaners would probably work, but YMMV), thought I'd try some on my dirty, stained XS side runner tread plates. Lo and behold, it didn't just clean them (working in with a stiff brush), it brought them up spotless! ![]() Wonder wheels is nasty stuff, though, so don't leave it on there too long, and you may want to use a wax/sealant on the ali afterwards to protect it. Also removed excess grout on tiles at a tenth the price of the B&Q products.

Try MUC OFF motorcycle cleaner, a lot less aggressive than any wheel cleaner and the bonus is you can also use it on wheels of all types anytime you fancy!!
