Black Box Solutions

There's been a lot of talk recently about Nanocom, but what about the BBS product? Does it give the code and the actual fault? Or do you have to have the DG special paper file with you to look up the fault? What are the main differences between the units?

This seems to be the biggest open secret on the forum. Would be good for all if it was just made public really. When you're not "in the know" you feel like one of the non-cool kids at school.

Yea, i noticed the AS10 Typo on the unit too Brian, and figured it was a translation error. I saw others such as Spped.
As the NANOCOM's diagnostic functionality was mainly derived from our own software, hence the reason it is a great system, in a lot of cases, Nanocom owners can reference our equipments help pages.
to do this, go to our web shop, select MSV-2 on the left, then select software and multi vehicle in the middle, and scroll down to the requisite vehicle system. Then click on the more info button by the side of it to give you the help page.

If anyone notes any more typos, drop me a PM and i will fix them myself or get them fixed for the next firmware upgrade release.

BBS SPY is Colin the owner of BBS, and there has been a management change at Nanocom so unless Colin or Pete at BAS comes along and denies it Blackbox and Nanocom are now the same company

Really puts me off a firm when they do that. If that happens I certainly won't be having one.

Well figured Brian, and quite correct

POM: shame on you for jumping to such conclusions. If i used forum feedback and published expectations to gauge all prices, you will have done no one any favours

As it happens, Prices have gone up slightly, but these are well negated by the VAT falling to 15% and our established forum membership 10% discount scheme.
