I may be reading this wrong but if the multimeter was set to mA and the draw was 8 Amps the reading would be 8,000mA or 8.0A not 8.0mA? On a decent multimeter on mA setting it should go to three decimal places not just two! With that sort of draw your battery dependent on ampere/hour rating would be flat as a pancake in no more than about 12 hours.
8mA may account for your clock and alarm and perhaps internal light if not switched off. ![]() Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Well...It appears to be fixed. One poxy 10amp fuse for the brake lights and also the alternator not charging light, hand brake/low brake fluid light.
