Fitting a decat pipe .. on the drive
Hi .. Is it possible to remove the cat and fit a decat pipe to a 2.4 puma without use of ramps or a pit? Preferably I'd like to keep the cat and pipe in one piece. (Or am I just better off getting an exhaust place to do it for me?)

With the crossmember and front propshaft disconnected the catalytic convertor can be removed on the drive. The engine itself may need pressure applied with a jack to give you the extra 5mm room to manipulate the cat out. It can be difficult but achievable.

The x member can be a pain to remove sometimes so I've heard, but not always.
I've just left my cat as standard and put in a straight trough centre section. Can't be bothered to be honest. Whistle
