SVX x-tech front end - how do lights work.....
Seems a silly question but my X-tech has the boggled eyed SVX front end on. I am sure when I first got it and I flashed my headlights the main beam in the headlamp flashed and so did the extra little lights under the indicators.

Last night whilst waiting for the nice man to cook my "home made balti" I checked the lights and couldn't get the little ones to illuminate. I tried flashing the light with everything turned off or on sidelights or on dipped beam as well as putting the headlights on and switching to main beam.

Should they work with all main beam operations (so when main beam is flashed and when lights are on and switched to main beam)?

TIA

yes, they are just spot lights - they should come on with the main beam

check the little yellow relay in the battery box, does it click when you put full beam on ?

Thanks bpman, I checked he relay and all was clicking away. But as I fiddled about old feel something loose behind the relay. The fuse was loose.

All sorted and main beam is much better Smile

Thanks all - I looked at the fuse and it was clicking away but the fuse was loose. Shoved it back in et voila.

Thanks for the pointer
